Announcing the appointment of Junji Takeo as an Executive Officer

At Elephantech Inc. (head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Shinya Shimizu, hereinafter “Elephantech”), we manufacture P-Flex®, a Flex PCB that can be produced with a lessened environmental burden following our mission of “Making the world sustainable with new manufacturing technologies”. We will be pleased to announce that Mr. Junji Takeo has been appointed Executive Officer & Chief Technical Officer effective March 13, 2019. Mr. Takeo will be taking over from his old position of Manufacturing Technology Manager in a bid to strengthen our development and production system and further expand the company.
Since joining Elephantech, Mr. Takeo has contributed to establishing the silver nano ink printing technology and improving the mass production technology for Flex PCBs using the Pure Additive™ method which is the manufacturing method for our P-Flex®. Also, he has shown strong leadership capabilities in pulling the team forward amid organizational expansion aimed to strengthen our development system.
By appointing Mr. Takeo as Executive Officer & CTO, we aim to strengthen our developmental and organizational capabilities for the launch of our second factory scheduled to open in January 2021.

Researched on physical evaluation methods for organic thin film transistors that use organic semiconductors with lightweight and flexible characteristics are conducted at universities as well as graduate schools
2014: Joined Nikon Corporation, worked on the development of processes using semiconductor making equipment
February 2016: Joined Elephantech Inc.
