Message from the CEO
Leaving our descendents a better world than the one we live in
I didn't really have a particularly strong interest in social or environmental problems before I started this company. I just thought calmly and objectively about what I'd like to devote my life to, and came to the conclusion that I didn't want to have to tell my children and grand children that "Our generation was the wealthiest generation and we could use anything we wanted to, but you can't do any of that any more because we used up all the planet's resources." I want to be able to tell them "We did our best to make sure that you could live happily, the rest is up to you." That thought is what led us to our current mission of "Making the world sustainable with new manufacturing technologies".
Of course, there is a limit to what an individual or a company can achieve. We won't be able to solve all the problems in the world. We will focus on the fields of manufacturing and electronics, develop technologies that can drastically reduce resources and energie required to make things, and hope to build a business that we can look back on and say "We saved the world's industries".
Making Japan strong again
Born in 1988, Japan as a global power house is something I have only ever known in the past tense. By the time I started to show an interest in society, the tone had changed to "Japan used to be great" or "Japan's still great in this field". Manufacturing and electronics are typical examples of fields in which Japan remained relevant. I have nothing but respect for the predecessors who built a strong manufacturing and electronics industry in Japan. However, there was a time, immediately after the war for example, when Japan couldn't have been as strong. Of course, it is true that the population grew following the war and the economy soared, but that isn't enough to explain the growth of Japan during this time and the nation's current power balance.
We intend on turning Japan back into an innovation power house and build a new "technological nation". We aim to set a great precedent and to be talked about by future generations as one of the companies that started a new wave that changed Japan.
For our growth
Ideals are just words unless accompanied by a system that can generate profit and continuous growth. We aim to establish a dominant position in a world where wasteless manufacturing techonologies have become the norm and grow into a 1 Trillion Yen company, something that is almost unheard of for Japanese technological start-ups.
