Elephantech Inc. (head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Shinya Shimizu, hereinafter “Elephantech”) manufactures P-Flex®, a Flex PCB that can be produced with inkjet printing, which significantly reduces environmental burden following our mission of “Making the world sustainable with new manufacturing technologies”. As of February 2020, we have changed the color of the P-Flex® PET standard soldermask from green to transparent.

Although we had previously used green as the standard color for our soldermask with the transparent coloring as an option, we will be making the changes mentioned above following strong demand from customers for the transparent coloring. Following these changes, non-transparent coloring shall only be available as a custom option. Please contact us for further information.

With these changes, we were able to improve the precision and printing quality of the transparent soldermask compared to when it was just an optional color. In addition, with the exception of the wiring and the symbol parts, P-Flex® PET is now made from clear parts, thus allowing for the manufacturing of flexible circuit boards with a greater emphasis on design.
